Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our southwest Atlanta area plant. The role focuses on designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and workflows to maximize efficiency.

You will drive improvements across production lines, lead DFMs, FMEAs, and automation initiatives, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, SolidWorks proficiency, tooling experience, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
• Ability to use SolidWorks and Microsoft Office effectively
• Must have tooling experience
• Project management experience required to run projects in their entirety
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Foundry experience is desired
• Zinc or high pressure aluminum die casting, stamping, plating or finishing experience desired or plastic injection molding
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software (SolidWorks)
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines
• Perform root cause analysis using statistical methods; apply Lean tools
• Design and implement production processes for new/existing products
• Conduct FMEAs on products and processes
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing
• Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize productivity
• Lead design of experiments, lean manufacturing, ROIA
• Lead design review meetings for new/existing products
• Create work instructions, statements of work, spare parts inventories
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, controls integration, fixturing and gauging
