ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a plant site in the southwest Atlanta metro area. You will plan and design manufacturing processes, maximize efficiency, and contribute to capital equipment investments.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and requires SolidWorks tooling, project management, and automation experience, including robotics and PLCs, in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with SolidWorks 3D modeling and MS Office.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management experience required to run projects end-to-end.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in heavy manufacturing environment.
• Foundry experience desired.
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software such as SolidWorks.
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis using statistical methods and recommend changes.
• Design & implement production processes for new products and design changes.
• Perform FMEAs on designs, materials, or processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
• Participate in cross functional teams to improve productivity.
• Lead design of experiments and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead design reviews for new/existing products.
• Create work instructions, statements of work, spare parts inventories.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, and controls integration.
