Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a plant site in the southwest area of the Atlanta, GA metro.

You will design production tooling using SolidWorks, implement productivity improvements, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and automation across heavy production lines. The role requires a BA/BS in engineering, tooling expertise, and PLC/robotics automation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient with 3D modeling software (Solid Works) and Microsoft Office
• Must have tooling experience
• Project management experience required to run projects end-to-end
• Automation experience, including robotics and PLCs
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in heavy manufacturing
• Zinc/high pressure aluminum die casting or stamping or finishing or plating experience preferred
• Foundry experience desired
• Authorized to work in USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D/3D software (SolidWorks)
• Implement productivity improvements on current lines
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend design/process changes
• Design and implement production processes for new products
• Conduct FMEAs on new/existing products
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing
• Participate in cross-functional teams for productivity
• Lead design of experiments and lean initiatives
• Lead design review meetings for new/existing products
• Create work instructions and spare parts inventories
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, controls integration, fixturing
