Job summary

Your Talent Team, located at a plant site in the southwest area of the Atlanta, GA metro area, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan and design manufacturing processes. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layouts, workflow, and workforce utilization, and will determine parts and tools to meet product specifications.

Expect 8–5 hours with potential 45–50 hour weeks. Responsibilities include tooling design, implementing productivity improvements, root-cause analysis, and leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management experience required to run projects.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling using 2D/3D software (SolidWorks).
• Implement productivity improvements on current production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis using statistical methods and Lean tools.
• Design and implement production processes for new products and changes.
• Perform FMEA on products and processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
• Lead cross-functional teams and design reviews.
• Lead DOE, lean manufacturing, and ROIA initiatives.
• Prepare work instructions and spare parts inventories.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, and controls integration.
