SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a plant site in the southwest area of the Atlanta, GA metro area. You will plan and design manufacturing processes, maximize efficiency, and analyze equipment layouts, workflow, and workforce utilization.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and includes a 401k with match and bonus potential. Hours are typically 8-5, with possible 45–50 hour weeks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management experience required.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in heavy manufacturing.
• Die casting, stamping, or foundry experience desired.
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Design production tooling using 2D & 3D software (SolidWorks).
• Implement productivity improvements on existing lines.
• Perform root cause analysis and apply lean methods.
• Design and implement production processes for new/changed products.
• Perform FMEAs on products, materials, or processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
• Lead cross-functional teams to boost productivity.
• Lead design reviews for new and existing products.
• Create work instructions, SOWs, and spare parts inventories.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, and tooling.
