W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for Manufacturing to drive positive sales growth across a defined geography. You will manage about 30-35 current accounts with $2–$3.5M in annual revenue and use Salesforce CRM to execute daily activities in support of account plans.

The role reports to the District Sales Manager of Manufacturing, requires travel at least monthly, and demands strong forecasting and customer planning capabilities to grow market revenue.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• Experience with sales forecasting and customer planning.
• Willingness to travel to each customer within the aligned market at least once per month.

Responsabilités

• Understand customer goals and respond to changing needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and resources to respond to developments.
• Oversee managed inventory support to increase sales within customer groups.
• Articulate Grainger's Value Proposition to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account penetration strategies and conduct regular business reviews.
