Job summary

W. W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to drive positive sales growth across designated geographies. You will manage about 30–35 current accounts and help process $2–$3.5M in annual revenue, using Salesforce to track activities and reporting to the District Sales Manager of Manufacturing.

You will travel to customer sites at least monthly, align with planning processes, and develop strategies to expand market revenue while delivering Grainger's value proposition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• Travel to customers within the aligned market at least monthly.
• Sales forecasting, opportunity management, and customer planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to changing needs.
• Demonstrate market data knowledge and access resources for developments.
• Oversee managed inventory tasks to grow customer understanding and sales.
• Communicate Grainger's Value Proposition to grow profitable sales.
