Job summary

The Atlantic District seeks a Managing Agent in Cumberland, MD to lead local insurance initiatives and build lasting community relationships. You will guide client protection plans, oversee portfolios, and drive growth with integrity and service.

You will mentor staff, develop outreach strategies, and ensure compliance while delivering compassionate, clear guidance to residents and business owners across Maryland.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Life & Health Producer License.
• 3+ years managing insurance portfolios or leading sales initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of policy structures and risk assessment.
• Excellent public speaking and community networking abilities.
• Experience with insurance software and client databases.
• Clear, empathetic communication style.

Responsibilities

• Lead local insurance initiatives in Cumberland by building deep, meaningful connections within the community.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring protection plans stay relevant as lives and businesses evolve.
• Mentor and support junior staff to foster a culture of learning and success.

• Clear, empathetic communication style that helps people feel secure.
