Job summary

The Atlantic District in Denton, Maryland is seeking an Agency Executive who will serve as a stable, community-focused leader. You will guide client relationships, design protective coverage strategies, and mentor staff while growing the agency’s presence in the Delmarva region.

Ideal candidates bring a Maryland P&C license, proven sales or advisory experience, and strong communication skills to a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property & Casualty license.
• Proven track record in insurance sales or high-volume client advisory roles.
• Strong command of agency management software and digital documentation.
• In-depth understanding of local insurance market trends in the Delmarva region.
• Experience managing a book of business and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to build long-term community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with local business owners and families to assess their unique coverage needs.
• Develop custom protection strategies that go beyond standardized policies to offer real peace of mind.
• Review existing client accounts to ensure coverage remains relevant and effective as their lives evolve.
• Engage with the Denton community through local events and networking to increase our presence and accessibility.
• Mentor junior staff members to foster a culture of shared knowledge and collective success.
• Provide clear, jargon-free explanations of complex insurance products to empower our clients to make informed decisions.
