Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Make Ready technician to assist in maintenance across our communities. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, ensuring units and common areas meet property standards.

You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, handle on-site tasks, safety compliance, inventory, and basic OSH guidelines. Regular attendance, on-call flexibility, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community.
• Assist with scheduling and performing maintenance/repair turn events.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards.
