Job summary

Asset Living in McKinney, TX seeks a Make Ready technician to support maintenance operations across our property portfolio. You will perform corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic tasks under supervision to ensure units are ready for new residents.

Responsibilities include preparing units to standards, handling work orders, assisting with turn events, pool care, safety compliance, inventory tracking, and accurate record-keeping while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills to operate on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance, corrective, preventive, routine, emergency and cosmetic tasks.
• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Conduct daily exterior maintenance, pool cleaning, and keep chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds and common areas to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Maintain records of service requests, work progress, and inspections.
• Provide strong customer and resident relations and responsive service.
