Job summary

Valiant Residential in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Make Ready to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready condition quickly and per the manager's timetable. You will inspect units, complete a checklist, handle lighting, appliance checks, repairs, painting, and basic carpentry as needed.

This role requires at least one year of related experience, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work on-call including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of work safety habits.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a make-ready checklist.
• Inspect all lights and replace as necessary; check or repair windows, doors, shelving, baseboards, mirrors, closets.
• Check applicable appliances and inform Lead maintenance of problems; assist with moving appliances.
• Make keys when necessary and repair faucets, sinks, or other fittings.
• Install backsplash, replace washers, and perform exterior repairs as warranted.
• Assist with painting duties and with curtain/blind repairs.
• Lend assistance during trash-out and support general project needs.
