Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Make Ready to restore vacated apartments to market-ready condition in a timely manner. You will inspect units, perform repairs, replace hardware, install backsplashes, and ensure all systems are functional prior to new move-ins.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or with a team, and willingness to work on-call hours including weekends. English communication skills and a valid driver?s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks and work on call.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a checklist regarding make-ready.
• Inform Lead Maintenance and Community Manager of needed services and repairs.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check lights and replace as necessary.
• Replace or repair windows, screens, hinges, sliding doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and closets.
• Check appliances and inform Lead maintenance of problems.
• Assist in changing or removing appliances from the apartment.
• Make keys when necessary.
• Check faucet plugs and repair/replace as necessary.
• Install ceramic tile backsplash in the kitchen.
• Replace washers when needed.
• Perform exterior repairs to sinks, bathtubs, etc.
• Assist with painting duties when requested.
• Repair or replace curtains, mini-blinds, ceilings fans, etc.
• Inspect bathroom tiles and perform minor repairs/replacements.
• Change A/C filters.
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment to clean carpets.
• Lend assistance during trash-out of the apartment.
• Any other projects as directed.
