Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Make Ready to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status in a timely manner per the manager's timetable.

You will inspect units, perform repairs, replace fixtures, assist with painting, and support cleaning tasks to prepare spaces for new residents. On-call hours and weekend availability may be required; competitive benefits include health insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Ability to represent the company professionally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a make-ready checklist.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check/replace lights and fixtures; repair windows, hinges, and doors.
• Assist with appliance checks and replacements; inform Lead maintenance.
• Install ceramic tile backsplash and perform minor repairs.
• Assist with trash-out and moving items as needed.
• Perform exterior repairs and painting; replace curtains and blinds.
• Change A/C filters; operate carpet cleaning equipment.
• Support on-call tasks and other projects as directed.
