Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant apartment homes meet quality standards and are turned to market-ready condition. You will perform repairs, caulking, painting, drywall inspection, and keep common areas clean and well maintained.

This role requires flexibility, ability to work evenings/weekends, and the stamina to handle physical tasks. You’ll follow safety policies, complete checklists, and contribute to cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts, with benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or trades preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs, painting, and drywall work similar tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and make-ready tasks for vacant units.
• Caulk and seal around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspect drywall for damage and repair or replace as needed.
• Touch-up paint for vacant and occupied units.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Complete make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation.
• Follow safety policies, attend safety meetings, and report incidents.
• Provide good customer service to residents.
