Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and make-ready tasks for vacant apartment homes, ensuring they meet quality standards for re-leasing. You will caulk, seal, inspect, and repair as needed, and you’ll touch-up paint to keep units market-ready.

Onsite role requiring flexibility, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and occasional travel between properties; strong customer service and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Ability to perform repairs and improvements to apartment homes.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to move-in.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, and bathroom areas.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs as needed.
• Performs touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists with cleaning and upkeep.
• Completes make-ready checklists and maintenance documentation.
• Adheres to safety policies and participates in trainings.
