Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards for re-leasing by performing essential repairs and make-ready work to market-ready condition. You will handle caulking, drywall inspection, painting, and general upkeep of the community.

The role emphasizes safety, timely documentation, and responsive resident service, with opportunities to support cost-control and participate in safety trainings. Onsite position with full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes before move-in using the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs or replaces as required.
• Performs touch-up paint on vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Completes make-ready checklists and required maintenance docs in a timely manner.
• Adheres to safety policies; attends safety meetings and trainings; reports incidents promptly.
• Provides strong customer service by addressing resident questions and concerns with urgency.
