Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacancy turnover meets quality standards and spaces are market-ready. You will perform repairs, caulking, sealing, painting, and routine upkeep across apartment homes.

The role requires following checklists, handling tools safely, and delivering responsive resident service while supporting cost-control initiatives. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or similar property upkeep.
• Ability to follow make-ready checklists and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and make-ready tasks for vacant units.
• Caulk and seal around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair as needed.
• Perform touch-up painting for vacant and occupied units.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist in cleaning and painting curbs and signage.
• Use tools efficiently to fix rather than replace parts to control costs.
• Complete make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation on time.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and related requirements.
• Provide courteous customer service and address resident questions or concerns.
