Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical condition of buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. The role includes handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and ensuring vacant units are prepared for leasing.

Responsibilities cover inspections, inventory management, and documenting maintenance activities. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for on-site

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical and plumbing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing per policy.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, access materials from the maintenance department, and notify when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests timely and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
