Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring building areas meet safety and appearance standards. The role involves completing work orders, doing preventative maintenance, and assisting with make-ready processes for vacant units.

The position requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver's license for on-site vehicle use. Flexibility for on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or service technician experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems following safety standards.
• Possession of EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and prepare them for leasing.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
