Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness and functional standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-ready processes for new tenants across Greystar properties.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, valid driver’s license for on-site duties, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• All state/local certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring completion of tasks.
• Manages materials and inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors about reorders.
