Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will address work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with the make-ready process for new move-ins.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certification, state/local certifications, and a valid driver's license to operate equipment on property.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required for service technicians.
• State/local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• A valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and equipment from the maintenance department and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately to ensure traceability.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed, supporting cost-control efforts.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver's license
