Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's physical assets to meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose, repair, and document maintenance tasks across units, grounds, and common areas, supporting efficient operations and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to respond to service requests and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and policies.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in units, grounds, and common areas.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacants and perform pre-move-out inspections.
• Track materials, tools, and inventory; return unused items and notify for reorders.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Assist with cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and general upkeep as needed.
• Support cost-control by using parts efficiently rather than replacing components.
