Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Davenport, FL to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, and routine inspections across units and common areas.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work for compliance. A valid EPA refrigerant certification and a driver’s license are required; on-call and rotating schedules apply.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification required (Type 1/II or universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-site vehicles/equipment.
• Experience with building systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Perform make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move inspection and scheduling.
• Track inventory, request re-orders, and manage supplies and materials.
• Document maintenance requests accurately to allow tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-containment by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
