Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors/exteriors meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and assist in make-ready processes for leasing.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to safety policies. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inventory tracking, and documentation, along with upkeep of grounds and common

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Accesses and tracks materials from the property maintenance department; notifies when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to enable proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
