Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units, with attention to safety and policy compliance.

Qualified applicants hold EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and are able to perform required physical tasks; on-site housing

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling and required by state/local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policy, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory and coordinate with the maintenance supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities via cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
