Job summary

Greystar maintenance professionals in Durham, NC ensure building systems, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-readies for new residents.

The role requires on-call flexibility, safety compliance, and the ability to operate in all weather conditions while contributing to cost-control and operational efficiency at the property.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf carts on property if applicable.
• OSHA safety training and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policy.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments and inspect pre-move-in readiness.
• Track materials, access supplies, and coordinate with vendors and maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests promptly and accurately for record-keeping.
• Help maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible and safe.
