Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall function. The role involves completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting in make‑ready processes for leasing vacancies.

Responsibilities include inventory management, documentation, and upkeep of outdoor spaces. The position requires flexibility to work on call during evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Makes ready the vacant apartments by inspecting, listing work, scheduling vendors, and completing tasks.
• Obtains materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re‑order needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting curbs and signage.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
