Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. The role involves completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include material handling, inventory tracking, and documenting work orders. Eligible for bonuses; extensive benefits and an on-site, full-time schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required by the property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Public-facing task: make-ready process for vacant apartments incl. inspections and punch lists.
• Accesses and inventories materials, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and basic painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education
