Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Austin, TX, to support the Maintenance Supervisor by inspecting and maintaining the property, buildings, and equipment. You will organize unit make-readies, service requests, and routine maintenance while ensuring grounds and units are safe, functional, and attractive.

The role requires availability for on-call responses, possessing basic tools, and a high school diploma (or equivalent). The position is full-time with healthcare and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available “on call” 24 hours, seven days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
