Embrey Management Services LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Austin, TX to support the Maintenance Supervisor and the property team. You will maintain buildings and amenities and handle routine maintenance tasks to keep units ready and safe for residents.

The role requires on-call availability, a valid driver’s license and prior maintenance experience. The position offers an hourly rate and comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available on-call 24 hours, seven days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
