Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Assistant at Nichols Park in Austin, TX. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor, care for buildings and amenity areas, and assist with daily operations to meet resident and staff needs.

Required are a year of maintenance experience in property management, a valid driver's license, and on-call availability. Competitive pay, healthcare, and a 401(k) are offered for a full-time salaried/exempt position.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Ability to be available “oncall” 24hours, seven days a week.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
