Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Austin, TX to maintain buildings and amenity areas and assist the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations, ensuring responsive service for residents and staff. You will inspect and maintain property, organize make-readies and service requests, and ensure grounds and units are safe, clean and attractive at all times.

Qualifications include one year of maintenance experience, possession of basic tools, a valid driver’s license, and on‑call

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available on-call 24 hours, seven days a week.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.
• Organize, prioritize and complete unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure the grounds, buildings and units are fully functional, safe and attractive.
• Respond to emergency conditions before, during or after business hours.
• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
