Job summary

EMBREY in Boerne, TX is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor by keeping buildings and amenity areas in excellent condition and coordinating timely repairs. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, and help ensure safety and cleanliness across the property.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available “on call” 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• EPA or HVAC certification.
• CPO preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety Manual requirements.
• Implement preventative maintenance, safety, and housekeeping practices.
• Inspect and maintain property, buildings, and equipment in attractive, safe condition.
• Assist in unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure grounds, buildings, and units are functional, safe, and attractive.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and units regularly.
• Correct emergencies and notify Supervisor immediately.
• Inspect HVAC units during apartment turns and maintain HVAC systems.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Attend meetings, training, and safety seminars.
• Complete other property-related tasks as assigned.
