Job summary

EMBREY, a San Antonio-based real estate investment company, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep buildings and amenities in top condition and to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations. You will support residents and staff by conducting preventative maintenance, safety practices, and timely service requests.

The role involves inspecting and maintaining properties, coordinating unit make-readies, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Possession of minimum tools required.
• Ability to be available on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• EPA or HVAC certification.
• CPO preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety Manual requirements.
• Assist in preventative maintenance, safety, and housekeeping practices.
• Inspect and maintain property, buildings, and equipment in good condition.
• Assist in unit make-readies, service requests, and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure grounds, buildings, and units are functional, safe, and attractive.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and units regularly.
• Address emergency conditions and notify supervisor.
• Inspect HVAC units during apartment turns and verify airflow.
