Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure physical aspects of buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role includes responding to work orders, completing make-ready tasks, maintaining grounds and amenities, and documenting service requests.

The position requires 1-2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver's license for property access.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the property’s maintenance department and tracks inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing instead of replacing parts when possible.
