Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical condition of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for safety and function. The role requires handling service requests, make‑ready tasks, and coordination with vendors.

Requirements include 1–2 years of related experience, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers comprehensive benefits and an on‑call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years of related experience.
• Eligible for renewal incentive bonuses.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical repairs, apartment make‑ready, and painting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make‑ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspection and punch list creation.
• Manages materials, supplies, and tools; tracks inventory and notifies supervisor when re‑ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting curbs and signage.
• Supports cost‑cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
