Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical upkeep of apartment properties. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-readies for new move-ins, while maintaining grounds and common areas.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver s license, and adherence to safety procedures. You will also document work orders, track inventory, and collaborate with the maintenance team to control costs and ensure property safety and cleanliness

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• Valid drivers license required to operate golf cart and vehicles on property.
• Experience with maintenance diagnostics, repairs, and preventive tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplies.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, tracks inventory, and reports reorder needs to supervisor.
• Completes documentation for service requests to document and track work.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible and using tools correctly.
