Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure the physical aspects of our properties meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. You will perform repairs, make-readies, and routine maintenance across units and common areas, while documenting work and collaborating with the property team.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II/Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license is required to operate golf carts onsite.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot building systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute make-ready tasks for vacant units, including pre-move inspections and punch lists.
• Access materials and tools from maintenance, track usage, and reorder as needed.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for tracking.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance and cleanup.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
