Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems, perform preventative maintenance, and support make-ready tasks at a stabilized property.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations. Proficiency in painting, plumbing, electrical work, troubleshooting, and diagnostics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance/tech experience.
• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Proficiency in painting, plumbing, electrical work, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Manages materials, equipment, and inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests for accurate tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
