Job summary

Invitation Homes Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high‑quality maintenance in our single‑family rental homes and deliver outstanding service to residents.

Responsibilities include completing service requests across trades, conducting ProCare visits, educating residents, and performing property assessments. The role requires a high school diploma and OSHA 10 certification, with experience in residential repairs and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10 certification required within 90 days if not already held.
• Experience in residential repairs or related fields.
• Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems; ability to perform general repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior, HVAC (minor) and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience.
• Perform ProCare visits for proactive maintenance and repairs.
• Educate residents regarding maintenance topics.
• Conduct property condition assessments and alert management for immediate attention.
• Review technician reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Repair vacant properties during market or turnover periods.
• Use and care for company tools, materials, and vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
