Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multi-family community. You’ll work with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs to uphold LMH’s quality standards.

Must have 2+ years’ related experience, strong tool skills, and a valid driver’s license. On-call duties and travel to regional locations may be required; competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ related experience required.
• Intermediate level understanding and experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred HVAC and EPA.
• Strong communication and ability to exchange information and give/receive work direction.
• Advanced skills with hand and power tools; basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
• Extensive knowledge of appliances.
• Basic computer skills (mobile device, PC).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle or cart.
• On-call availability and potential overtime; respond within 60 minutes.
• Ability to travel to regional locations for work, training, meetings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Perform installations, service repairs, and preventative maintenance in homes and common areas.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within 24 hours.
• Maintain and update service requests using Yardi Mobile until closed.
• Respond to on-call service requests and emergency calls.
• Participate in routine inspections and safety procedures.
• Operate tools safely and follow OSHA and LMH policies.
