Liberty Military Housing Service Technician I keeps a multifamily community running by performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and timely responses to resident requests.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience and basic skills in two trades. You’ll communicate clearly, use tools safely, and participate in on‑call and emergency work to support residents.

Formación

• One or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in two or more basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC.
• Working knowledge of appliances.
• Operate small hand and electrical tools; basic repair skills.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents.
• Basic computer skills; able to use mobile device.
• Valid driver's license; able to operate a vehicle.
• Available for regular on‑call work and emergency overtime.
• Be able to arrive at the property for service within 60 minutes.
• Willingness to travel to regional locations for work and training.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs; climb stairs and ladders.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions and follow safety rules.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Apply basic skills in two or more trades to ensure quality homes.
• Perform routine service repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within 24 hours.
• Maintain vacant homes to LMH standards.
• Respond to on‑call service requests and emergencies.
• Participate in routine inspections.
• Maintain common areas and grounds; manage tools and shop.
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor.
• Update service requests using Yardi Mobile until completed.
• Use standard hand and power tools safely.
• Follow OSHA, LMH SOPs and safety practices.
• Travel to locations for work as needed.
