Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a multifamily community. The role requires basic trade skills, appliance knowledge, and safe operation of tools, with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Beginning level understanding or experience in two or more basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
• Working knowledge of appliances.
• Competent with small hand and electrical tools.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Must be available for regular on-call work assignments and emergency calls.
• Must be able to arrive at the property for service requests within 60 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Apply basic skills in two or more trades to ensure quality maintained homes and community.
• Perform routine service repairs and preventative maintenance in homes and common areas.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within the required time frame (24 hours).
• Perform on-call service requests and emergency calls.
• Maintain and update service requests using mobile tools until completed.
