Job summary
Liberty Military Housing in San Diego, CA is seeking a Service Technician I (Maintenance Technician I) to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a multifamily community, maintaining quality standards and resident satisfaction. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, appliance repair, and related tasks, participate in on-call duties, and support safety and OSHA requirements.
A valid driver's license and 1+ year of maintenance experience are preferred, with opportunity for growth
Qualifications
- 1+ year of maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to operate basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to travel to regional locations and work on-call.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.).
- Carry out routine service and preventative maintenance in homes, common areas, and grounds.
- Respond to resident requests within 24 hours and complete assignments per LMH standards.
- Handle on-call service requests and emergency calls.
- Maintain and update service requests using Yardi Mobile until completion.
- Follow safety regulations and LMH SOPs.
