Job summary

Greystar in Austin, TX seeks a Service Technician to perform maintenance tasks, make-readies, and uphold safety standards on a busy property. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, manage inventory, and assist in grounds upkeep while following policy and code requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates with vendors.
• Tracks inventory, sources materials, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering.
• Maintains documentation for service requests.
• Assists in grounds maintenance and general cleaning.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
