Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Austin, TX to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building quality and safety. The role includes completing work orders, make-ready tasks for vacants, inventory control, and documentation to track service requests.

Qualifications

• Performs technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Participates in make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Maintains documentation and paperwork for service requests.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and maintains grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Assists in safety programs and compliance with OSHA and related laws.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
• May inspect contractor work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license
