Job summary

Greystar in Austin, TX is seeking a property maintenance technician responsible for keeping buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and functional. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make‑ready tasks for vacant units.

You will follow safety policies, track inventory, assist with inspections, and support cost‑control by repairing parts rather than replacing them. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are required; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required (Certified Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Prepare vacants for leasing; perform punch lists and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track inventory of materials and return unused items to proper location.
• Document work orders accurately and promptly for record-keeping.
• Perform grounds and common-area upkeep; assist with painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
