Job summary

Greystar seeks a Service Technician to perform diagnostic and maintenance work on property buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will complete work orders, conduct preventative maintenance, and assist with the make-ready process for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) and a valid driver's license. This is an onsite Austin, TX position with a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance on property grounds, buildings, and amenities.
• Diagnoses defects, repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Maintains make-ready processes for vacant units and schedules contractors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service units and common areas to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist in safety meetings and follow OSHA requirements and company policies.
• Track inventory, tools, and materials; document work orders promptly.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible.
