Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Colorado Springs is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties and uphold the highest standards of customer service and curb appeal.

You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC and grounds, handle preventative maintenance, manage work orders, and assist with emergencies while keeping residents informed and satisfied. A valid driver’s license and strong organization are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, and window/door repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, and safety checks.
• Maintain work orders and ensure resident satisfaction with timely completions.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas to identify safety or maintenance issues.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and communicate issues to leadership.
• Promote safety and risk management per company rules and regulations.
